Helping put life back into your soil

Your soil matters and the biology under your feet is vital to your soil’s health.

Together we can get the biology to flourish under the ground so your plants will thrive above ground– and pests and weeds will not.

Why soil biology Analysis?

Biological soil analysis measures what is living and active in your soil.

Think of healthy, living soil like a bustling, diverse city. Starting with microscopic one-celled bacteria, algae, fungi, and protozoa. Now add more complex organisms like nematodes and microarthropods. Then include things visible to the human eye, including earthworms, and small vertebrates.  Now you truly have the components of a scurrying metropolis beneath your feet.

As a city needs all parts to function properly, so the soil organisms need to be balanced, living, and active to promote the soil’s health. These organisms all work, grow, and function together in a complex, dynamic relationship that we call the soil food web…

How can we not marvel at soil and creation

Services

I am certified by Dr. Elaine Ingham to use the SoilFoodWeb method to measure soil and compost biological health. This unique method uses a special shadowing microscope to identify and quantify the levels and diversity of microorganisms present.

By measuring the number and variety of microbes present in soil and/or compost, we can understand which groups are lacking. Then together we can implement a plan to reintroduce the proper microbes to create and sustain a healthy, flourishing Soil Food Web ecosystem.

It's all about the microbes! Soil biology 101

Although the life under the ground is typically out of sight, it definitely should not be out of mind– especially since 95% of life on land is found under your feet!  Soil microbes are a truly fascinating and intricate link between the seen and “unseen”….

About

My name is Dr. Randy Meyer and I have  been involved in life science research for over 20 years. I am passionate about improving human health and our entire ecosystem by renewing our soils. By replenishing the beneficial microorganisms beneath our feet– in line with how the Creator intended in the Soil Food Web— we can improve our health and well-being. In addition, by so doing, we also will leave our world a better place for our children and grandchildren.Â
